What a great cup of coffee! Welcome to Central America Coffee Pavilion
2010-11-23
The 2010 Taipei Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo will take place at TWTC, November 26-29. Each year, this one and only professional coffee exhibition in Taiwan attracts world-renowned coffee manufacturers, suppliers of raw materials and professional equipment.
One of the world’s major coffee-producing regions, Central America makes fine-quality, premium coffee well-acclaimed in the coffee industry, thanks to its pleasant climate and perfect natural environment. Coffee production in this region has been steady increasing in quantity as well as quantity. Eyeing Taiwan’s surging domestic demand for coffee over the recent years, the Central American coffee manufacturers decided to step up the campaign effort for their high-quality products in Taiwan, and at the same time enhance the cooperative and friendly ties with Taiwan’s coffee industry. By participating in the expo, they plan to promote the sales of Central America coffee, seek Taiwanese agents and importers, and gain additional opportunities for strategic alliance between companies from Central America and Taiwan. The expo, meanwhile, will hopefully boost consumer awareness of Central American coffee as well as the image of fine-quality, premium products from the region. The improved potential for bilateral trade may increase coffee exports for Central American countries and eventually benefit both the coffee companies and consumers.
This year’s expo sees participation by El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, each sending to Taiwan a delegation that consists of heads of coffee farmers’ associations and manufacturers. The vice president of Honduras, for example, will lead a group of coffee manufacturers to demonstrate a wide range of coffee products at the Honduran booth, where procurement meetings are available. Those who are interested in importing the Central American coffee may visit the booth of the Central America Trade Office for more information.
