Honduras recorded an all-time high in LCD television imports due to World Cup Football

After 28 years, Honduras once more sponsored the World Cup Football in 2010 which has been celebrated by all of the entire Honduras. In the consumer markets, Honduras tried by all means to market a variety of products by means of the World Cup Football, including foods, drinks, textiles, flags, audio, television sets, and equipment of computer networks. Among those products, LCD televisions are believed the top beneficiary. During January~April, 2010, Honduras imported 141,681 LCD television sets, growing by 300% over 35,890 sets imported during the corresponding period of 2009.
