El Salvador gradually rallies in export and textile

During 2008~2009, El Salvador dropped by 16.5%, from US$4.5491 billion down to US$3.7973 billion in export. During the first four months 2009, the total amount of its exports came to US$1.2721 billion. During the corresponding period of 2010, the total export amount already increased up to US$1.4343 billion. During January~April, 2010, the exports of traditional products increased by 30.9% and non-traditional products increased by 16.3%. In 2008, El Salvador exported textiles worth US$1.9283 billion which came down to US$1.4874 billion in 2009. During January~April, 2010, the export amounted to US$493.4 million, a slight increase over US$480.6 million attained in the corresponding period of the preceding year, showing signs of a rally.
