Agriculture suffered serious losses in Guatemala

Tropical storm Agatha caused the worst loss in agriculture in vegetables, coffee, flowers, ornamental plants, fruits and shrimp industries. According to Guatemalan Exporters Association, it is estimated that only the loss of flowers and plants reaches 10 million Quetzales (about 1,25 million US dollars), shrimp will yield a loss of 75%, 95% in the loss of cocoa and honey.
