Art product section launched by Taipei 101

2014-10-29

An art product section showcasing the strength of Taiwan’s cultural and creative sector was recently inaugurated at landmark Taipei 101, the tallest green building in the world.

“This undertaking represents our commitment to boosting the international profile of Taiwan culture to visitors from home and abroad,” said Thomas Tai, mall general manager of the building’s management firm Taipei Financial Center Corp. “We are excited to welcome art aficionados and hope they will enjoy and take home some of our creative offerings.”

Situated on the fifth floor, 726-square-meter Cultural and Creative showcases high-end products from 10 major brands such as jewelry maker Chullery, porcelain art manufacturer Franz Collection, incense producer FushanKodo and glassmaker Liuligongfang.

According to Tai, the section is also a platform promoting items launched exclusively by Taipei 101 like limited-edition commemorative gold coins and sorghum wine kaoliang produced in outlying Kinmen County.

“There truly is no better venue in Taiwan for introducing outstanding local art brands to visitors from abroad,” Tai said. “We expect the section to be warmly received by visitors from far and wide.”
