Taiwan shines at InnoVEX Pitch Contest

The Ministry of Economic Affairs-supported Taiwan Research-Institute Entrepreneur Ecosystem corporations garnered five awards at the InnoVEX Pitch Contest May 22, displaying Taiwan’s expertise in innovative technology.
This year marked the 10th edition of InnoVEX, which was held alongside the information and communications technology trade show Computex May 20-23 in Taipei City. A total of 150 startups from over 20 countries competed for nine awards totaling US$140,000 at the event.
According to the MOEA, TREE corporations took US$23,000 in prizes, in addition to professional counseling and international resources valued at US$42,000. The winning entities are Taipei City-based DeepRad.AI Inc. and Jmem Tek; New Taipei City-based Soic Marine Solutions Co.; and Hsinchu County-based KopherBit Co. and EndoSemio Co., respectively receiving the grand prize, Taiwania Capital Innovation Award, Enspyre Award, Future Star Award and PwC Taiwan Award.
The MOEA’s Department of Industrial Technology said that TREE was established to help domestic corporations access global resources, adding that four of the firms have participated in accelerator projects such as Berkeley SkyDeck.
DeepRad.AI, which took the third prize in the open-tech category at SelectUSA 2025 earlier this month, specializes in artificial intelligence-powered medical imaging analysis. It is also the first TREE company to be supported by the NVIDIA Inception program, the department concluded.
