According to the MOEA, the EMM14 takes place Aug. 15-16 in Lima, Peru. Discussions will focus on the enhancement of energy security and the acceleration of the transition to clean energy, while ensuring inclusive economic growth and the protection of vulnerable underprivileged groups.

The ministry said the conference will also dedicate considerable time to discussing the importance of energy acquisition in facilitating sustainable growth, as well as the promotion of hydrogen energy in APEC member economies.

During the conference, the MOEA said Chen will share Taiwan’s policies and achievements related to the promotion of renewable energy along with the development of zero-carbon electricity and the establishment of a just and inclusive transitional mechanism.
