The event provides opportunities for European firms to gain further understanding of the country’s semiconductor, electric vehicle and medical care sectors, she added.
Echoing Kiang’s remarks, Taiwan Rep. to Germany Shieh Jhy-wey said strengthened trade connections with global counterparts promote stability and prosperity in Taiwan. Representative to the EU Roy Chun Lee said Europe also needs a resilient and trustworthy partner like Taiwan to ensure prosperity.
Other highlights of the expo include the Taiwan-EU Semiconductor Forum and the EU-Taiwan Business Cooperation Seminar and Matchmaking Event. The latter involved seven industrial clusters from six European countries through the arrangement of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, the TAITRA added.
