French Government Offers US$12 Million to Better Educational Systems of Honduras

Ambassador Philippe Ardanaz of France to Honduras interviewed Honduras Minister of Finance William Chong Wong of Honduras yesterday. Meanwhile, he held a talk with ranking French government officials in Honduras. Through the rendezvous, they resolved a decision of offering US$12 million donation to enhance the educational systems of Honduras. The French ambassador pointed out that the French donation is intended to better hardware facilities of Honduras, notably to buy updated hardware, computer facilities to help Honduras win more chances of cross-national educational & training programs. Alejandro Ventura, Minister of Education of Honduras, said in return that thanks to the French donation, there would be a total of 117 public or private educational institutions as the beneficiaries.
