SICA Urges Industrial Nations to Lower Carbon Emissions

Nicaragua’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Santos, attended the SICA (Sistema de la Intergracion Centroamericana) submit on October 25, 2011 held in Salvador. The rotating chairman, President of Salvador, Mauricio Funes, made a joint statement with leaders of Costa Rico, Guatemala and Honduras to urge industrial nations to reduce carbon emissions, in order to avoid more deaths and environmental damages in Central America as a result of greenhouse effects.
