South Korean Textile Industry Intends to Step Up Investments in Nicaragua

According to Presidente de la Cámara de la Construcción, Mario Zelaya, a Korean textile companies, Hanses, currently with facilities in the export processing zones of Nicaragu, will develop an industrial park in Masaya, Nicaragua, in 2011~2013, by investing US$15m in 2011 to build 60,000 a site of square meters and US$10m in 2013 to further build the site by 30,000 square meters. This $25m investment project is expected to create 6,000 jobs.
