Taiwan Participates in 11th EXPOAPEN in Nicaragua in 2011

The 11th EXPOAPEN in Nicaragua was held in Crown Plaza, Managua on September 23 and 24, 2011. On the morning of 23rd, political and business leaders of Nicaragua gathered for the opening ceremony and coffee break. In addition to the showcase of technical missions, the Taiwanese government also presented Catalogue of Taiwanese Products in Celebration of 100th Birthday of the Republic of China. The opening ceremony was hosted by Presidential Delegate for Investment Promotion, Alvaro Baltodano; Industry and Commerce Minister, Orlando Solorzano; Chairman of the Association of Producers and Exporters of Nicaragua (APEN), Enrique Zamora; Executive of APEN, Azucena Castillo; President of Nicaragua's Superior Council of Private Enterprises, Jose Adan Aguerri and other senior government officials. In their speeches, they all emphasized that this trade show is the platform with Central America, North America and Europe. It is the largest international trade event of Nicaragua. They all thanked Taiwan for participating and promoting the trade between Taiwan and Nicaragua.
