U.S. Senate approved FTA with Panama
2011-10-18
The U.S. Senate wrapped up a 5-year-long discussion and approved the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with Columbia, Panama and South Korea, which are expected to stimulate U.S. economy and create job opportunities with increased exports. It is predicted that these FTAs will bring the U.S. a considerable number of domestic jobs while making most U.S. exports to the three countries tariff-exempt.
