Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America. Its tropical climate, cultural diversity and breathtaking natural attractions made Nicaragua an important start for experiencing Central America. For instance, the Corn Islands, known for its white beaches, crystal clear blue water and its simple island life, are located at Nicaragua’s Caribbean coast. It is the premium destination for international tourists to experience Caribbean life.
On the other hand, Masaya Volcano National park, the biggest national park in Central America, is located 22.5 km away from the capital city Managua. It is the few volcanoes in the world where tourists can get in direct contact with its most active crater and appreciate lava lake from the crater boarder. The volcano attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year, making it the most popular national park in Central America.
