Honduran Non-Traditional Product Exports to EU Are Up By 83%

Based on Honduran government statistics, in the first five months of this year, Honduran non-traditional product exports to EU are up by 83%. Fishery products take the majority of all export items. The statistics also show that the U. S. market is not the only major destination for Honduran non-traditional products. This does not mean that the D-CAFTA signed between the U. S. and Central America does not play a role, but that Honduras should also makes efforts in expanding sales to EU and other markets.
