Esso Petroleum Changes Ownership, Belize is not Affected

The Esso gas station that grew up with the Belizean is about to change hands! According to a press release published on Tuesday, Esso’s parent company, the world’s largest oil company, U. S. ExxonMobile Corp., decided to sell the operation in six Central American countries including; Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, to Puma Energy, whose headquarters is in the Netherlands. In the next 12 months, all of the Esso logos on gas stations across the country, including those on the storage tanks, will be replaced with Puma logos.
