With officials from El Salvador Tourism Board, the delegation visited tourist sites on the following day (October 6th), including Cerro Verde National Park, small town Ataco, and El Carmen coffee estate.  Although it was during the rain season, the delegates said they were able to experience the different charisma of El Salvador amid cloud and fog.  The delegation joined the welcoming party at Central American Travel Market (CATM), which was greatly participated by guests from many countries.  In the Tourism Board Director’s the welcoming remarks, the delegation was mentioned several times and was sincerely welcomed to join the exhibition.  All the delegates were ready for the travel exhibition business meeting on October 7th.

The delegation participated in the Central American Travel Market (CATM) on October 7th.  This was the second annual event in El Salvador and 78 traveling companies in Central American countries were invited.  Tourism Board Director highlighted several times the participation of our delegation at the welcoming reception party on the previous night.  On the first day of the exhibition, the delegates actively held business discussions with local companies and tried to plan touring packages to expand the market of Central America tourism by Taiwan citizens.  Furthermore, Minister Cheng from the Taiwan Embassy in El Salvador and officials from El Salvador Tourism Board accompanied the delegation to visit tourist attractions including El Boquerón National Park, the unique El Rosario Church, and a well-known grand church.  The delegation visited the handcraft market on October 8th and the delegates were amazed by the blue dye fabrics.  The delegation’s tour in six countries was perfectly completed in El Salvador.
