Ambassador Ingrid Y.W. Hsing, Director of the Central America Trade Office (CATO), led the Delegation to visit Managua on September 22, and Nicaragua paid great attention to the visit. The trip was organized and arranged by INTUR Nicaragua, and the staff accompanied the Delegation in the whole journey. Mr. Laureano Ortega, the son of the President and investment adviser, and Ms. Anasha Campbell, Director General of Tourism Bureau briefed the condition of Nicaragua and its tourism at a welcome luncheon on 22nd. The delegates discussed relevant package tours with twelve local tourism agencies in the afternoon. Through this meeting, the Taiwan’s tourism agencies have gained a deeper understanding of the tourist attractions of Nicaragua, and hoped to promote bilateral trade and cooperation through the communication and exchange.
