Honduras Coffee Is Deeply Favored By Taiwanese Consumers

Honduras products exhibited in the 2010 Taiwan Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo on Sunday were greatly favored. Mr. Samuel Reyes, attending the event on behalf of the president of Honduras, and Mr. Rony Gámez, IHCAFE expert (Honduran Institute of Coffee), speaking for Honduran manufacturers, introduced the aromatic Honduran coffee to Taiwanese attendees. In the subsequent evaluation, Honduran coffee scored an average of 87 % in “the best” category, while coffees from the province of La Paz, Lempira and Santa Bárbara scored 93%.
