International Investment, Industry and Commerce Fair (2010) to kick off in Managua
2010-08-31
The Chamber of Commerce of Nicaragua (CACONIC) will hold the II International Investment, Industry and Commerce Fair in Managua City, the capital of Nicaragua. The fair is expected to be participated by more than 70 companies---including Nicaragua-based companies, major importers-exporters and manufacturers from Brazil, Mexico, or other Central and South American countries---as well as the U.S. and Mexico embassies. Taking place at the exhibition center at Crowne Plaza Hotel Managua, the trade show will feature nearly 100 booths. Nicaragua has held many Taiwanese trade shows since it became a diplomatic ally of the Southeast Asian country, and this is the second International Investment, Industry and Commerce Fair jointly held by Taiwan and CACONIC. Besides a showcase of premium products from Taiwan, 17 exhibitors will occupy the Taiwan pavilion this year, a sign that Taiwan has successfully tapped into the Nicaraguan market with strengthened diplomatic ties.
