Launched in September 2015, TAFIB is a central government-initiative situated on the site of the former headquarters of the Republic of China (Taiwan) air force command headquarters. It is a center for integrating innovation and entrepreneurship in the humanities and science and technology, as well as holding events like exhibitions and forums.
The event, with the theme of ICT technology and its applications, also reflects Taiwan’s leading position in such technology and underscores the importance of intelligent machinery, one of the five innovative industries targeted for promotion by the government.
