2019 Taichung International Tea, Coffee and Bakery Show - Guatemala Pavilion

The 2019 Taichung International Tea, Coffee and Bakery Show co-sponsored by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TITRA) and Chan Chao Int'l Co., Ltd. will take place in Taichung International Exhibition Center next to High Speed Rail Taichung Station from July 5 for four days. The Taichung International Tea, Coffee and Bakery Show was well received from all walks of life when it was first held in 2012. The scale of the show has grown year by year and the show has become the largest international professional food and beverage business development platform in central Taiwan. In addition to the exhibition of professional products, because there are more and more professional and talented baristas in Taiwan, the organizers will also hold two international competitions: “World Siphonist Championship Taiwan Representative Selection Competition” and “Taiwan Hand Drip Championship” during the exhibition. Baristas around Taiwan are welcomed to exchange their skills and experience at this platform.

The Central America Trade Office plans to assist the Embassy of the Republic of Guatemala in participating in this show and will invite two coffee estates and exporters, ASASAPNE and El Rincón, from Guatemala to Taiwan to join three Taiwanese coffee importers: Cafetoland, Ama el Aroma, and I+ Coffee in exhibiting in the Show. Meanwhile, this is also the first time TITRA invites four Guatemala exporters to Taiwan to exhibit in the Latin America zone through Oficina del Consejero Económico de la Embajada de la República de China en Guatemala and Anacafé (Asociación Nacional del Café). A variety of coffee will be offered for tasting during the exhibition, and there will be presentation about coffee estates at the main stage. Taiwanese importer and people interested in Guatemalan coffee are welcome to visit the Guatemala Pavilion during the exhibition.
