Taste and Experience the Aromatic Coffee and Fine Wine from Central America

In recent years, the consumption of coffee in Taiwan has risen rapidly. The domestic coffee business has reached NT$70 billion a year, and the mainstream’s taste for lattes has passed. The market demand for black coffee is showing a jump in development, and thus, the demand for top quality coffee beans has increased significantly. Each year, the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE) of the United States co-sponsors a coffee competition, Cup of Excellence (C.O.E.) with the participation of every coffee producing Member State of Central America, where the award winning coffees are sold through global online auctions. The reputation of Central American coffee in the international market is greatly enhanced by the competition and the subsequent demand.

The "2016 Taiwan International Tea, Wine, and Coffee Expo" will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from November 18~21. To offer various choices for the tasting and critical appreciation of Taiwan import agents, this year, the six nations of Central America (Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama) invited their well-known coffee industry operators and official coffee industry association representatives to bring forth a number of fresh, top-quality coffee beans, and launch a diversified marketing program that focuses on premium coffees, which will offer open tasting and business negotiations on the site of the coffee exhibition. Along with the introduction of the coffee production regions of Central America, micro-climate and special planting methods, a number of coffee cupping evaluations will be held at the same time. Coffee beans provided for the cupping evaluations range from premium beans to commercial beans, and well-known producers' beans to give the public an in-depth experience with the fine quality of Central American coffee. Taiwan coffee industry operators are welcome to visit our booth during the exhibition.
