After years of joint effort of the industry and promotion unit, the Central American coffee imports have yielded fruitful results and continued to grow. It has been a brand. The coffee culture in Taiwan is growing, driving the consumption and taste enhancement and attracting more coffee-lovers to pay attention to the Central American coffee.

El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama in Central America have signed the free trade agreements (FTAs) with Taiwan. With the niche of tariff reduction, it is more advantageous for Taiwan’s manufacturers to import special coffee and commercial coffee directly from Central America. The Dominican Republic in the Caribbean joined the service of CATO in 2015. Its high quality coffee is also well-known internationally.
