The Central American countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama will participate in Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei ITF) 2011, a high-profile annual event for global tourism industry, under the theme of “culture, ecological heritage and coffee”. In addition to free information on Maya civilization and related ecological heritage, the Central America Pavilion will partner with well-established Taiwanese travel agencies and offer opportunities to explore the culture and beauty of Central America amid passionate beats of Latin music.

The Central America Trade Office will launch a series of speeches concerning tourism in Central America to coincide with the 4-day-long Taipei ITF 2011. Among other speakers, happycloud, a renowned travel blogger, will share her fun-packed experiences traveling to Panama, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Meanwhile, Central American dance companies will demonstrate folk dance on the center stage at TWTC Exhibition Hall 1.

Widely considered one of the worlds' top four coffee-producing regions, Central America is known for fine-quality coffee manufactured in estates, which include the prestigious Geisha Coffee from Panama, the premium estate coffee beans from El Salvador that won many awards in 2011, and the Antigua coffee from Guatemala. Fresh-brewed coffee will be available for free at the Central America booth for four consecutive days at Taipei ITF 2011. So come and try the tasty Central American coffee!
