The 2010 Taipei International Travel Fair will take place at TWTC Exhibition Hall 1, November 5-8. Besides the travelogue documentaries played at the Central America Pavilion, jointly hosted by Belize, Guatemala and Nicaragua, free brochures for traveling in Central America will be available. The pavilion will hold a “Press Conference for Tourism Products” to introduce Central American tourist attractions and package-tour itinerates, in a bid to lure more Taiwanese people to visit Central America. This year’s expo is participated by delegations of Central American countries such as those representing the Belize Tourism Board and Guatemalan tourism industry. Not only will the delegates promote tour packages to Central America during the travel fair while bolstering the image of their countries, they also plan to visit Taiwan-based tourism companies and help them determine itineraries to Central America. Their promotional efforts are expected to boost bilateral interaction.

The popular bloggers Stanley and Happy Cloud embarked on trips this October to Guatemala and El Salvador, respectively. During their first trips to Central America, Stanley and Happy Cloud went to the must-see scenic spots and took many amazing pictures. At the Guatemalan booth, they will share with the audience the magnificent Central American scenery and interesting episodes that occurred during their trips, which are definitely unheard-of for many!

There are various other exciting activities available at the booths in Central America Pavilion this year, including a free sampling of the tasty, smooth Guatemala and Nicaragua coffee (as well as the coffee liquor from Belize), a display of ethnic Guatemalan clothing, and a Belize cuisine show.
